How Does diVa Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Work?

Only diVa utilizes innovative Hybrid Fractional Laser (HFL) technology. diVa delivers two laser beams at once to the wall of the vaginal canal for a synergistic effect. The first laser deeply resurfaces the tissue layers, replacing it with improved quality tissue. The second laser heats the layers where collagen exists.
The procedure takes less than 10 minutes to perform. The minimally invasive diVa process will be performed by first inserting a dilator into the vaginal canal. Inside the dilator is a handpiece, which is responsible for releasing the pulsed light during the treatment. The precision guiding system will guide the handpiece around and down the vaginal canal while it releases the laser treatment.

The patient may experience a slight pressure against the vaginal wall during the diVa treatment, and some patients may experience increased sensitivity near the vaginal opening. diVa laser therapy is fast with minimal discomfort.
Patients may return to their daily routine with minimal to no discharge, spotting, or discomfort; however, patients should avoid sexual intercourse for up to 48 hours.
No, diVa is an in-office treatment. Topical anesthetic may be applied to increase patient comfort but is not necessary.
